Nashville, TN – October 17, 2024 – NRT Music, in partnership with Syntax Creative, is excited to announce the signing of Dove Award-winning band Big Dismal, marking their highly anticipated return to the Christian rock scene. With a legacy rooted in powerful, faith-driven anthems, Big Dismal is set to make waves again with a series of new releases.

Their journey back into the spotlight began with the 2023 singles “Fly Again,” “Rainy Day (Acoustic)” and “Stay in the Fight,” delivering the band’s signature blend of raw emotion, grit, and hope, inspiring listeners to persevere through life’s toughest battles. These tracks resonated deeply with fans, old and new, reminding them of Big Dismal’s undeniable impact with “Stay in the Fight” spending an incredible 30 weeks at No. 1 on the Christian Rock radio chart this year.

On November 15, 2024, the band will continue their reintroduction by releasing their latest single, “Here In My Heart.” Their first music video in 20 years will premiere on the same date. This song promises to offer the same lyrical depth and powerful sound that made Big Dismal a household name in Christian rock.

“We are incredibly honored to have earned the trust of Big Dismal,” shares NRT Music founder, Kevin McNeese. “It’s one thing to come alongside newer artists just starting their career. It’s entirely different to work with a band with such great history and respect, seeking a new generation of fans. Their songwriting is top notch and we look forward to being part of this next chapter in their multi-decade career.”

It will be a year of bold, inspiring music as Big Dismal gears up for their biggest comeback yet. Since their critically acclaimed album Believe spawned three consecutive No. 1 singles and was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2004 Dove Awards, and their contribution to the 2004 Dove Award-winning album The Passion of the Christ: Songs, Big Dismal is preparing more new music in 2025.

Big Dismal joins a quickly growing and diverse artist roster at NRT Music that includes rock acts Collington, Howard Gripp, and Mr. Weaverface, worship acts Presence Music Band, NCS Collective, Ezra Worship Initiative, and John Chisum, bluegrass newcomer Niki Lou Savich, rap artist Blake Whiteley, and contemporary/pop artists Anya Lee, Gretchen Keskeys and Jay Davids.
